How to start using SMS Banking?

Push Messages: Are messages that are automatically sent by the bank as and when a certain transaction or event takes place on your registered account(s).
Customers will automatically receive notifications for the push services that were selected during service activation.

 

  •  ePIN online generation
  • Mobile number change


 

  • Authorisation Password change
  • Login to Internet Retail Banking

 

  • E-Channel login lock
  • Deposit account status change

 

Pull Message: Are messages that are requested or initiated by the customer, using a mobile phone, for obtaining real time information or performing a transaction in the bank account or cards.

The below services can be performed upon your request:

 

 

  •  Account enquiries
  •  Bill payments
  • Transfers**
  • CrediMax services
  • Al Hayrat top-up
  • Cheque book requests

 

After selecting the required pull service(s) during registration,  customers will be able to perform a “Pull” service by simply sending an SMS message containing the corresponding service code and the assigned short name of the requested service to 94111 for Batelco subscribers or +97339304111 for Zain, Viva and other subscribers or when you wish to use the service from outside Bahrain.

The Pull SMS format is illustrated in the table below.

 ** For fund transfers and all types of payment transactions (Phone, electricity, credit card) you will receive an acknowledgment message from BBK SMS Banking with a confirmation key in this format: “CK XXXX”. This confirmation key should be sent back to the Bank (on 4111 for Batelco subscribers or +97339304111 for Zain, Viva and other subscribers) to execute the transfer/payment transaction.
