BBK, Bahrain's pioneer in retail and commercial banking, has announced the appointment of Banking Technology and Operations Expert Mr. Hassan Abouzeid as Group Chief IT & Operations Officer. The appointment of the industry tech veteran supports the Bank's digital transformation journey a part of which is building a world class fintech enabled team.
Abouzeid brings more than 30 years of Banking Technology and Operations expertise to BBK. Prior to joining the Bank, he was the Chief Digital Officer at Boubyan and Al Ahli Bank of Kuwait, the Chief Information Officer at HSBC Egypt, and a banking technology consultant for multinationals Accenture and Logica.
