BBK, Bahrain’s pioneer in Retail and Commercial Banking, announced the launch of the ‘BBK Queue App’, an innovative mobile phone application that allows BBK Retail Banking customers to book a ‘virtual ticket’ on a specific date and time at one of the Bank’s 16 branches in Bahrain to complete their banking requirements and avoid long queues.
With the new BBK Queue App, which is available on Android and iOS, customers are able to locate their nearest branch, check branch opening hours, view real time queues, average waiting times and book the services needed. With the ticket issued on their smartphones, customers would then need to just check-in upon arrival at the branch and show the teller or customer service agent the ‘virtual ticket’ in order to be served.
Commenting on the launch, BBK Chief Executive, Mr. Reyadh Yousif Sater, said: “With the new app , customers can now plan their visits to the Bank by booking a pre-set appointment to complete their banking transactions and save time”.
“BBK is taking customer service excellence to a new level. With the new app, our customers can utilize their time more effectively and enjoy a more streamlined customer service experience when visiting any of our branches across Bahrain,” Mr. Sater added.
BBK customers can use the app to enjoy a variety of banking services such as new account opening, loan application, insurance products or teller services including deposits and withdrawals. The app will also help reduce the traffic at branches, thereby benefiting all of our customers.
