  • BBK "Visa" Debit Card accepted worldwide for purchases and withdrawals.
  • Can be maintained in any major international currency, including Bahraini Dinars, Saudi Riyals, Kuwaiti Dinars, Omani Riyals, Qatari Riyals, UAE Dirhams, US Dollars, GBP, Euro, Swiss Francs and Japanese Yen.
  • Open an account with as little as BD 300 (minimum balance). 
  • Minimum initial deposit and monthly balance for Foreign Currency accounts is USD 1,000
    or equivalent.
  • Swift delivery of cheque books via courier. 
  • Free unlimited deposits and withdrawals via cheque book or ATM card (Maximum ATM withdrawal limit is BD 700 per day).
  • Free transfer of funds to and from any other BBK account.
  • Flexibility of making payments through cheque book.

Documents required

  • Salary certificate or salary slip.
  • Minimum salary requirement: BD 500 for Bahrainis and BD 700 for non Bahrainis.

For Bahrainis: Two valid IDs: Original CPR/Smart Card and Passport.

For Non-Bahrainis:
Original CPR/Smart card.
Passport (with Residence Permit for expatriates residing within the GCC).

Original Commercial Registration (CR).
Bank Statement (last 3 months).
