(MENAFN) Abu Dhabi”s Etihad Airways has purchased more 4.1 percent stake in Ireland”s Aer Lingus last month, according to Arab News.
Etihad has bought up to six million shares in the Irish airline at USD13.9 million, increasing its shareholding from 2.98 percent to 4.11 percent.
Etihad spokesman said: “Etihad Airways”s stake in Aer Lingus now exceeds 4 percent following the acquisition last week of further shares on the open market.”
