(MENAFN) Dubai’s Al Ghurair Center is set to conclude the USD544-million expansion it announced to increase its retail space, reported Gulf News.
The expansion, scheduled to complete this summer, includes the addition of new shops and an entertainment zone to the current Deira-based mall.
The shopping center will nearly double its retail space with extra 150 stores and food outlets, refurbished cinemas, while the large entertainment zone will comprise an indoor rollercoaster and ice rink.
As the expansion was carried out in stages, a 5-star hotel and a luxury serviced-apartments tower were launched in December.
It is worth noting that Al Ghurair Center was launched nearly 30 years ago.
