Enjoy easier and faster payments with the new Garmin Pay service. All you have to do is add your BBK Debit Card to your Garmin smartwatch to enjoy seamless payments when tapping it at any NFC-enabled POS terminals.

How do I get access?

To get started, download the latest version of the Garmin Connect Mobile App on your Apple or Android smartphone and make sure your Garmin smartwatch is charged and follow the steps:
  • • Open the Garmin Connect Mobile App on your device, tap “Garmin Devices”, and select your Garmin smartwatch
  • • Select Garmin Pay and tap “Create Your Wallet”
  • • Create a 4-digit passcode to keep the wallet on your watch secure
  • • Enter your card details
  • • Read and accept the terms and conditions
  • • Enter the Authentication Code (OTP) sent by SMS to your registered mobile number
  • • Once you are done, the card will be added to your wallet and you're ready to use Garmin Pay service

To pay, please follow the below steps:
  • • Press and hold the action button on your Garmin smartwatch
  • • Tap the Wallet icon and enter your 4-digit passcode
  • • Select the card you want to use
  • • Hold your wrist near the contactless terminal. A green tick will appear when the transaction is successful
  • • Use Garmin Pay service anywhere you see the contactless (NFC) symbol

1. What is Garmin Pay?

Garmin Pay is a contactless payment solution that enables customers to make in-store purchases with their compatible Garmin smartwatches. You can use Garmin Pay everywhere contactless payments are accepted.

2. Who can use Garmin Pay?

All BBK Debit Cardholders using below Garmin smartwatches can download the Garmin Connect Mobile App to their iOS or Android devices and use their watches. For iOS platforms, mobile devices have to run on iOS 10 or higher. For Android platforms, mobile devices have to run on Android 4.4 KitKat or higher.
 
Supported Garmin smartwatches are: Garmin Pay Service is available for all the below mentioned devices and any new Garmin device that supports the service.

3. How can I add my BBK Debit Card on Garmin Pay?

o Open the Garmin Connect Mobile App on your device, tap “Garmin Devices”, and select your Garmin smartwatch
o Select Garmin Pay and tap “Create Your Wallet”
o Create a 4-digit passcode to keep the wallet on your watch secure
o Enter your card details
o Read and accept the terms and conditions
o Enter the Authentication Code (OTP) sent by SMS to your registered mobile number
o Once you are done, the card will be added to your wallet and you're ready to use the Garmin Pay service

4. Where can I use Garmin Pay?

Use Garmin Pay to purchase items in any store that accepts contactless payments or to ride select transit systems. To determine if the store accepts Garmin Pay, look for the symbol below on the payment terminal:

5. How do I use the Wallet? 

The Wallet section of the Garmin Connect app is where you add and remove payment cards for Garmin Pay, set a default card for your device, edit a payment method, and review recent purchases. If you lose your device, you can also suspend the cards on it for added security.
To open the Wallet, tap the    > select Garmin Pay> Get Started.


6. How do I make a payment with Garmin Pay? 

o Access the smartwatch's Control Menu
o Tap the Wallet icon and enter your 4 digit passcode
o Select the Card you want to use by swiping up or down or using the Up and Down buttons
o Hold your wrist near the contactless terminal
o A green checkmark will appear when the transaction is successful
o You will be prompted to enter your passcode every 24 hours or after every time you put the smartwatch back on after taking it off
o If you enter your passcode incorrectly 3 times, your wallet locks, and you must reset your passcode in the Garmin Connect app 
 
When the payment succeeds, your device vibrates and you will see a confirmation on the screen.


7. Do I have to enter a PIN code to make a payment? 

o When you set up Garmin Pay, you’re prompted to set a personal 4-digit PIN code.
o To authorize a payment, enter your PIN code the first time you use Garmin Pay since last taking off your device, or if it's been 24 hours since you made a payment.

8. Where can I see a list of transactions made with Garmin Pay?

o BBK allows you to see your 10 most recent transactions made with Garmin Pay in the Wallet section of the Garmin Connect app.
o If this feature isn't available for your card, or if you want to see all of your Garmin Pay transactions, review your banks statement.

9. Is Garmin Pay secure?

o Garmin Pay includes many security features. Garmin Pay uses an industry-standard tokenization platform to ensure your card information is never revealed or shared with merchants or with Garmin. Garmin Pay also requires you to use a personal 4-digit PIN code for an added layer of protection.

10. What should I do if I lose my Garmin device?

o If you lose your device, you can remove or suspend the cards you added to the device using the Wallet section of the Garmin Connect app. 
o If you lost both your phone and your Garmin device, you can reach us on +973  17 207777, and our agents will be able to suspend or cancel the tokens linked to your device.
o Don’t forget, you can still make payments using the physical debit card too.

11. Can I use Garmin Pay Internationally? 

o You can use Garmin Pay when traveling internationally at stores that accept contactless payments. 
o Note that foreign transaction fees may apply to purchases made internationally.
