Paying for your purchases is now faster than ever. BBK introduces Fitbit Pay for easier and faster payments. All you have to do is add your BBK Debit Card to your compatible Fitbit smartwatch or tracker to enjoy seamless payments when tapping it at any NFC-enabled POS terminals.

How do I get access?

  • Open the Fitbit App on your smartphone and navigate to your settings
  • Tap Fitbit Wallet and follow the instructions to add your card
  • If you haven't created a PIN code for your watch, you will be asked to set one
  • Enter your card details
  • Read and accept the terms and conditions
  • Enter the Authentication Code (OTP) sent by SMS to your registered mobile number on our system
  • Once you’re done, Fitbit Pay will sync the activated card to your watch via Bluetooth

1. What is Fitbit Pay?

Fitbit Pay free contactless payment solutions used by NFC technology within Fitbit supported smartwatches and trackers. These services are secure as using your physical card and has no access to your banking details.

2. Who can use Fitbit Pay?

All BBK Debit Cardholders using below Fitbit device can download the Fitbit app to their iOS or Android devices and use their devices. For iOS platforms, mobile devices have to run on iOS 10 or higher. For Android platforms, mobile devices have to run on Android 4.4 KitKat or higher.
 
Current supported Fitbit devices are:
 
o Versa 2
o Versa 2 Special Edition
o Ionic
o Charge 3 Special Edition
o Charge 4
o Charge 4 Special Edition

3. How can I add my BBK Debit Card on Fitbit Pay?

To get started, download the latest version of the Fitbit app on your Apple or Android smartphone and make sure your Fitbit device is charged and follow these steps:
o With your device nearby, tap the Today tab , and tap your profile picture.
o Tap your device image, then tap the Wallet tile.
o Follow the on-screen instructions to add a payment card. In some cases, your bank may require additional verification. If you are setting up Fitbit Pay for the first time, you may be prompted to set a 4-digit PIN code for your device. Note that you also need passcode protection enabled for your phone.
o Enter your card details
o Read and accept the terms and conditions
o Enter the Authentication Code (OTP) sent by SMS to your registered mobile number
o After you add a card, follow the on-screen instructions to turn on notifications for your phone (if you haven’t already done so) to complete the setup.
o You can add up to 6 cards to the Wallet (5 cards for Charge 3 and Charge 4), and choose which card to set as the default payment option on your device.

4. Where can I use Fitbit Pay?

Use Fitbit Pay to purchase items in any store that accepts contactless payments or to ride select transit systems. To determine if the store accepts Fitbit Pay, look for the symbol below on the payment terminal:

5. How do I use the Wallet? 

The Wallet section of the Fitbit app is where you add and remove payment cards for Fitbit Pay, set a default card for your device, edit a payment method, and review recent purchases. If you lose your device, you can also suspend the cards on it for added security.
To open the Wallet, tap the Today tab > your profile picture > your device image > Wallet.

6. How do I make a payment with Fitbit Pay? 

o To pay with your default card, Press and hold left button on your Fitbit device, hold your wrist near the payment terminal. If prompted, enter your 4-digit watch PIN code. Your default card appears on the screen.

2. Tap the screen to find the card you want to use, and then hold your wrist near the payment terminal.

  
When the payment succeeds, your device vibrates and you will see a confirmation on the screen.


7. Do I have to enter a PIN code to make a payment? 

o When you set up Fitbit Pay, you’re prompted to set a personal 4-digit PIN code.
o To authorize a payment, enter your PIN code the first time you use Fitbit Pay since last taking off your device, or if it's been 24 hours since you made a payment.

8. Where can I see a list of transactions made with Fitbit Pay?

o BBK allows you to see your 3 most recent transactions made with Fitbit Pay in the Wallet section of the Fitbit Fitbit app.
o To see your recent transactions:
o In the Fitbit app, tap the Today tab, then tap your profile picture.
o Tap your device image, then tap the Wallet tile.
o Tap the card you added to your device and then swipe up to see your 3 most recent transactions.
o If this feature isn't available for your card, or if you want to see all of your Fitbit Pay transactions, review your banks statement.

9. Is Fitbit Pay secure?

o Fitbit Pay includes many security features. Fitbit Pay uses an industry-standard tokenization platform to ensure your card information is never revealed or shared with merchants or with Fitbit. Fitbit Pay also requires you to use a personal 4-digit PIN code for an added layer of protection.

10. What should I do if I lose my Fitbit device?

o If you lose your device, you can remove or suspend the cards you added to the device using the Wallet section of the Fitbit app. 
o If you lost both your phone and your Fitbit device, you can reach us on +973  17 207777, and our agents will be able to suspend or cancel the tokens linked to your device.
o Don’t forget, you can still make payments using the physical debit card too.

11. Can I use Fitbit Pay Internationally? 

o You can use Fitbit Pay when traveling internationally at stores that accept contactless payments. 
Note that foreign transaction fees may apply to purchases made internationally
