(MENAFN) Saudi mining firm Maaden stated that its affiliate Maaden Phosphate Co has resumed operations of its DAP fertilizer plant following a maintenance shut down, reported Arabian Business.
Maaden said that the diammonium phosphate (DAP) fertilizer plant in Ras al-Khair was closed for 3 weeks during a period when demand is usually low.
Last month, Maaden said that there will be no impact of the shut down on its ability to meet its obligations to clients of the industrial fertilizer, adding that Ras al-Khair’s ammonia plant would carry on operations normally.
It is worth noting that Maaden will increase production as scheduled, on the 18th of the current month.
