(MENAFN) Abu Dhabi Tourism & Culture Authority (TCA Abu Dhabi) stated that the number of guests who stayed at the emirate’s hotels and hotel apartments last month jumped by 20 percent from a year earlier to around 236,704, reported Emirates 24/7.
The authority added that also guest nights witnessed a rise of nearly a third, reaching 738,797, while the average-length-of-stay rose by 8 percent to 3.12 nights.
On the other hand, occupancy rate jumped by 12 percent and revenue climbed 18 percent to USD127.6 million.
As for the first 4 months of 2013, hotel guests increased by 10 percent to 868,121, whereas guest nights grew by 25 percent to 2.9 million and the average- length-of-stay went up by 13 percent to 3.29 nights.
