BBK has added Google Wallet to its range of digital wallets since November 2024 and now BBK Mobile App introduced in-app provisioning that helps ease the process of securely adding debit cards to Google wallet with a few simple steps:

1. Log in to the BBK Mobile Banking App using your primary trusted android device.

2. Go to ‘Cards’ in the main navigation menu, select your debit card then tap on the ‘Add to G Pay’.

3. Tap on the ‘Add to Wallet’, accept the banks terms and conditions and enter the required details to continue.

4. Based on the verification protocol you will be asked to enter a verification code sent to the registered main contact number or call the bank.

5. Once the request is verified, the card is ready to use for in-app, online, and in-person contactless purchases.

Download Google Wallet on your Android device from the Play Store.

How do I get access?

To get started, download the latest version of the Google Wallet from the Play Store and follow the steps:

  • 1. Open the Google Play Store and  download Google Wallet.

  • 2. Open the Google Wallet app

  • 3. Select your country of residence and hit Continue.

  • 4. Select the Google account you want to use and hit Continue.

  • 5. Enter your phone number and tap on Continue.

  • 6. You’ll get a text with a code. Enter it and wait for the app to verify your identity.

  • 7. You’ll be asked to select some privacy-related preferences. Follow instructions.

  • 8. You’re in!

How do I add my Card?

  • 1. Open the Google Wallet app.

  • 2. Tap on the + Add to Wallet in the bottom-right corner of the screen.

  • 3. Enter your card details and tap-on save and continue.

  • 4. Next, you’ll need to approve the terms and conditions.

  • 5. You’ll be asked to wait until your bank verifies you.

  • 6. A Bank agent will then contact you and verify your request and identity.

  • 7. Congratulations! Your card is ready for tap to pay.
