(MENAFN) Abu Dhabi Motors’ General Manager, Arno Husselmann, announced that during the first quarter, sales of the BMW Group in the UAE grew to 3,223 units, reported Emirates 24/7.
Husselmann added that sales in the capital rose by 22 percent, reaching 1,906 vehicles, driven by strong demand for the BMW X5 Sports Activity Vehicle (665), X6 Sports Activity Coupe (382) and BMW 5 Series (312).
Moreover, sales of the MINI jumped by 15 percent to 70 units.
On the other hand, AGMC, the BMW Group importer in Dubai, Sharjah and the Northern Emirates, stated that it sold 1,317 BMW and MINI units.
It is worth noting that BMW Group sales in the Middle East climbed by 28 percent in the quarter to 6,303 BMW and MINI vehicles.
