(MENAFN) Drake & Scull International (DSI) chief corporate affairs officer, Zeina Tabari, stated that the company plans on moving hundreds of jobs from Dubai to the UAE’s capital Abu Dhabi, reported The National.
Tabari also said that DSI’s business in Abu Dhabi rose from 12.2 percent of its total projects in 2011 to 14.3 last year. She added that Dubai’s projects fell from 10.8 in 2011 to 6.9 in 2012.
It is worth noting that the company will move up to 1000 jobs between the two emirates. It said that it used to employ 4000 people in Dubai and 3000 in Abu Dhabi but now has 1500 in Dubai and around 6000 in Abu Dhabi.
