(MENAFN) Dubai Statistics Center (DSC) announced that the emirate’s consumer price index (CPI) inflation fell last month by 0.03 percent, reported Emirates 24/7.
The agency said that the food and drinks group’s prices declined by 0.75 percent, whereas prices of miscellaneous goods and services went down by 0.13 percent, and those of transport dipped by 0.02 percent.
Meanwhile, prices of several groups, including Beverages and Tobacco, Textiles, Clothing and Footwear, Health, Communications, Recreation and culture and Education, were unchanged.
It is worth noting that prices of furniture and household goods rose by 1.77 percent in February, while prices of housing, water, electricity and gas gained 0.05 percent, and those of restaurants and hotels went up by 0.04 percent.
