(MENAFN) Property experts Cluttons stated that over the last 6 months, prices of luxury Dubai villas rose by an average 8.9 percent, reported Arabian Business.
Meanwhile, prices of mid-range villas jumped by 14.9 percent between last year’s third quarter and 2013’s first quarter, whereas lower-budget villas surged by 20.2 percent.
On the other hand, average prices of high and mid-range apartments gained 10 percent, each, and lower budget apartments climbed by 14.6 percent.
As for rents, high-end villas posted an average rental value gain of 9.7 percent, while the mid-range villa segment recorded an average rent rise of 6.2 percent and lower budget villas posted rental value increase of 19.6 percent.
In the mean time, the emirate’s lower apartment segment registered a rent increase of 12.7 percent.
