(MENAFN) New tax legislations and legal regulations are predicted to help resolve disputes between the Egyptian state and taxpayers.

Accordingly, the new legislation would seek to resolve disputes that are organized for review by the tax committees.

In addition, the legislation is predicted to help collect 56 percent of the USD 8.98bn due in income tax, which will be USD 1.16bn in uncollected sales taxes.

Moreover, the new financial year’s tax income is expected to remain at USD 47.41bn for 2016/2017.
