(MENAFN) Huawei Enterprise Business Vice President, Liu Qi, stated that the Chinese telecom giant has plans for expanding in Oman’s enterprise business solutions markets, reported Times of Oman.
Qi also said that the USD28 billion company eyes taking advantage of the big opportunities available in the Sultanate by offering a wide range of solutions and products for both the government and the private sector.
The VP added that Huawei plans on offering its services through installing a transmission system for the government and oil sectors as well as providing an IP networking solution for e-government.
It is worth noting that Huawei has a strong presence in the GCC region, covering 12 countries across the Middle East. Last year, Huawei signed contract sales worth around USD2.7 billion in the region.
