(MENAFN) Indian SpiceJet Airways denied the reported news of a potential partnership with Kuwait Airlines, as earlier news said that the Gulf carrier is awaiting approval to hold 25 percent stake of the Indian carrier, reported Arabian business.
SpiceJet stated that: “The news report suggesting that a stake sale in SpiceJet is being considered to induct Kuwait Airways as a strategic partner is totally untrue and without any substance,”.
It’s worth mentioning that the Abu-Dhabi based Etihad airlines has reached an agreement with Jet airways to hold 24% stake of the Indian airways, and hasn’t receive final approval yet.
