(MENAFN) Kuwait’s tourism sector is predicted to increase by 4.3 percent per annum through the next decade to 2025, with whole investment figure of USD 1bn.
Moreover, the country’s plan for long-term tourism growth received support in 2015, with airport passenger volume increasing from almost 10mn travellers.
Accordingly, tourism accounted for 1.5 percent of whole GDP last year, and is set to increase by 0.3 percent by 2025, which would take it to 1.8 percent, grow.
It is predicted that tourist arrivals at 440,000 by 2024, up from 270,000 in 2014 and increased capacity will grow by 6.2 percent per annum through 2025.
