(MENAFN) Nissan’s Dubai office announced that the company will recall 300 cars of its 2012 models of the four-wheeler Qashqai in the Middle East, reported Emirates 24/7.
It said that the aim of the voluntary recall is to examine the casting date of the steering wheel armature, adding that its retailers will not charge consumers for the inspection.
The company is carrying out a voluntary recall campaign on around 48,000 model year 2012 for Nissan Qashqai, Qashqai+2 (J10) and 3,000 Model Year 2012 NV200 (M20) cars in Africa, Asia, Europe, Latin America & Caribbean, Middle East and Oceania markets.
It is worth noting that in December last year, Nissan Middle East had advertised in the local media recalling Qashqai’s 2011 models as a result of technical fault in its power steering.
