Oil production in Oman up 1.08 percent in September

(MENAFN) The Omani Ministry of Oil and Gas said that the country’s crude oil production last month recorded an increase of 1.08 percent compared to the month before it, Times of Oman reported.

During the month, oil production averaged at 957,581 barrel per day (bpd) amounting to around 28.72 million barrels.

Around 24.5 million of the total barrels produced were exported in September, marking a drop of 2.06 percent versus exports in August.

It is worth mentioning that China remains the number one importer of Oman’s crude oil.
