(MENAFN) Oman plans to set up a new center next year to push growth in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), Arabian Business reported.
The Public Establishment for Industrial Estates (PEIE) will launch the National Business Centre (NBC) which will start operations in the first quarter of next year.
Malak Al Shaibani, NBC director, said the center will provide facilities and value added services, make use of ties to industrial areas, and target budding entrepreneurs from universities.
It will also provide business support facilities from office space, administrative support, financial support and consultancy services.
The National Business Centre will work together with partners from public and private sectors to support incubated companies through the support services.
