(MENAFN) OSN CEO, Daiddlevid Butorac, announced that the number of subscribers jumped by more than 30 percent last year and the pay-TV network in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region projects a similar growth in 2013, reported Arabian Business.
Butorac attributed 2012’s growth to content offering, improved digital innovations and using the internet to offer customers more control, choice and content.
The network, which at the current time has 36 HD channels, plans to strengthen its OSN Play and OSN Plus HD digital services this year.
The network spans over 420 touch points across the region, and plans to expand its footprint by 20 percent mainly in Saudi Arabia, which posted the highest growth in 2012, with 35 percent, furthermore, OSN focused on expanding its presence in new markets, such as Qatar and Libya.
