(MENAFN) Qatar Airways CEO, Akbar Al Baker, stated that the carrier, which at the current time serves Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore and Hyderabad, plans to add additional cities in India to its network, reported Arabian Business.
Al Baker said that Qatar Airways is asking for more flying rights into India in light of the rising air traffic.
The CEO noted that the Doha-based airline had exhausted all of the routes it was given by the Indian government.
It is worth noting that Qatar Airways has no plans to make any direct investment in any Indian airline.
