(MENAFN) Qatar Gas Transport Company Ltd (NAKILAT) will increase its workforce by 100 percent to 10,000 by 2016, reported Arabian Business.
The Doha-based shipping company scored a total profit of USD205 million in 2012.
The Qatari workforce in the company’s head office is around 20 percent, and it’s planning to increase the percentage to 24 by the end of the current year.
It’s worth noting that Nakilat was founded in 2004 and now it owns 54 LNG vessels, making it the world’s biggest LNG ship owner.
