Saudi Arabia exports and imports continue to escalate

(MENAFN) The entire Saudi nonoil commodity exports went up by 5.9% to reach 4.3 billion in May this year. The amount of imports also increased by 2.8% to 13.9 billion, Arab News reported.

5.13 billion of the total nonoil exports went to plastic and rubber at 32.06 percent, being on the top of the country’s exports list in May 2013, the Central Department of Statistics and Information (CDSI) reported.

It’s worth mentioning that UAE is considered the top major importer from KSA, followed by China and Singapore at 15.57%, 12.78% and 7.39% ,respectively.
