(MENAFN) Tasnee, a National Industrialization Company in Saudi Arabia, announced its USD16 million strategic investment in the Australian-based Dyesol, one of the world’s leading developers of dye solar cell technologies, according to Saudi Gazette.
Tasnee is considered as the world’s second largest producer of titanium oxide, and the second largest industrial company in Saudi Arabia.
Dyesol dye solar cell technologies improved their efficiency by beating the world’s record of 14.1 percent as their technologies can be applied on rooftops, providing the same level as conventional solar cells, even with the lack of high light.
