(MENAFN) Turkish Airlines is working on increasing the number of tourists from GCC nations to Istanbul as it offers a 50 percent discount on flight wages to and from Abu Dhabi, according to Arabian Business.
The carrier said that airfares to Istanbul will start at USD268.1 during the winter season.
“Turkish Airlines has witnessed tremendous growth from Abu Dhabi this year, a 53 percent increase in passenger traffic in the first eight months compared to the same period in 2012, and we connect passengers from UAE to more countries than any other airline,” said Murat Bas, vice president Marketing & Sales for Turkish Airlines in Middle East & Cyprus.
