(MENAFN) Group Cheif Executive Officer of UAE’s Air Arabia, Adil Ali, stated that the low-cost airline plans on starting flights to Yerevan in Armenia in two months time, reported Arabian Business.
Ali also said that the flights will be twice a day, each with a flight time of three hours from the UAE to the Armenian capital.
The group CEO added that Yerevan is Air Arabia’s fifth new destination this year. He also added that the new flights will start mid August.
It is worth noting that Air Arabia is UAE’s only publicly-listed carrier. It reported a 20 percent rise in its Q1 net profit which stood at USD16.06 million up from USD13.33 million in the same period a year earlier.
