(MENAFN) Indian Jet Airways CEO, Nikos Kardassis, said that the company would start daily flights from Sharjah to Thiruvananthapuram starting by the end of October, meanwhile the Indian airline would keep on operating a daily flight from Sharjah to Kochi, reported Arabian Business.
The CEO added that the Sharjah to Thiruvananthapuram flight is considered to be the tenth daily service from the UAE to India and the 22nd Jet Airways flight from the Gulf to India.
Kardassis also said that the new route from Thiruvananthapuram to Sharjah is designed to meet the company’s corporate and business travelers. Noting that Jet Airways’ Gulf network now serves 10 destinations in the region, the thing that would make the Indian company a pioneer in the field of aviation.
Kardassis said that the new route would be considered the tenth among other daily Gulf operations from Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, Dubai, Doha, Kuwait, Muscat, Sharjah, Jeddah, Riyadh and Dammam to Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Hyderabad and Kochi.
