4,800 UAE government buildings set for green change
23 Dec 2015
(MENAFN) The current choice taken by the US Congress to boost the 40-year ban on its oil export will not touch market fundamentals, as stated UAE Ministry of Energy.
The Ministry of Energy is working on a plan to justify energy consumption by turning almost 4,800 government buildings to green ones, which will consume 112MW of electricity.
In addition, the initiative will concentrate on schools and mosques, and the ministry will follow solar power projects in the Northern Emirates.
Moreover, he also works on an initiative to reduce electricity and water use by individuals with a goal of 30 percent.
