Abbar Foods, Egyptian firm sign distribution contract

(MENAFN) General Manager of the Egypt-based Mashreq Des Produits Laitiers (MDPL), Medhat Azer, said that the company signed a deal for recruiting Saudi Abbar Foods to distribute its products in the Kingdom, reported Reuters.
Azer said that although the company owns a factory in Alexandria that exports products directly to the Gulf, a partnership with a strong company in the Saudi market would be beneficial to both parties and would boost services offered to Saudis.
Its is worth noting that MDPL is a subsidiary of the French Group Soparind Bongrain, while Abbar Foods is a subsidiary of Abdullah Mahmud Abbar & Sons Group.
