Abraj Misr, 6 firms sign contracts for Egypt’s USD589.7m project

(MENAFN) Abraj Misr, the Egyptian real estate firm, signed a contract for developing the USD589.7 million “The Gate” project, with six global firms specialized in operating real estate ventures, Amwal Alghad reported.

The six firms that agreed to carry through with Abraj Misr are the US Hill International, Dimensions Engineering Consultant, Johnson Controls Inc, Korea’s CSSE, Italian IC Group, and IMDG.

The Gate is located on a plot of 35.000 meters and consists of eight administrative, commercial, domestic towers, and a five-star hotel. The area also has decent links towards Cairo Airport.

The project was dubbed ‘eco-friendly’ because it enjoys solar water heating system, wind turbines, green spaces and roof verandas.
