(MENAFN) Abu Dhabi International Airport passengers increased by 17.2 percent, during the first half of 2015 as compared to the equivalent period in the previous year.
A total of 11,111,577 passengers traveled through Abu Dhabi International Airport, compared to 9,481,744 in the same period in 2014.
The number of aircraft movements during the six months rose to 84,938, a 15 percent growth compared with 73,862 aircraft movements reported last year.
“It is very encouraging to see a constant increase in passenger traffic numbers, despite the challenges it poses,” chief executive officer said.
