(MENAFN) Abu Dhabi Intl Airport predicts a slowdown in the pact of passenger growth in the recent year, as proclaimed the acting chief executive of operator Abu Dhabi Airports.
Additionally, the UAE’s second-busiest commercial airport projects to handle almost 25mn passengers this year compared with 24.5mn in 2016.
However, the carrier viewed some slowdown in the growth of the airlines that use Abu Dhabi Airport and also have the regional political situation.
Currently, Etihad Airways, the major carrier at Abu Dhabi Intl Airport, is pursuing a plan review and recruiting for a new group chief executive to succeed veteran boss who left airline on July 1.
