(MENAFN) Abu Dhabi has signed the UAE’s second hyperloop feasibility study in order to build a futuristic high-speed transport system linking the cities of Abu Dhabi and Al Ain.
Additionally, Abu Dhabi’s Department of Municipal Affairs and Transport and U.S-based Hyperloop Transportation Techs proclaimed the deal.
Furthermore, the hyperloop uses magnet to soar pods inside an airless tube, making conditions in which the pods can shuttle people and cargo at speeds of up to 1.200 km per hour.
The UAE made plans to build its own national rail network after neighboring Gulf nations fell behind on their rail projects that were supposed to link the six states from Kuwait to Oman.
