(MENAFN) Abu Dhabi Ports proclaimed the official inauguration of a new port on Delma Island in the Emirate which has been constructed at a cost of USD46.3mn.
Additionally, the new port will better serve the community in the Al Dhafra area as an upgraded multipurpose port capable of handling cargo.
Furthermore, the new port covers a whole area of 280.725 square meters, with 58.500 square meters of pavement for easy transport.
The terminal has 103-m long quay wall with three fixed ramps that serve as berthing areas for ferry vessels.
