(MENAFN) Abu Dhabi plans a new airport expansion project worth around USD173.64 million, according to the Emirates 24/7.
The project is scheduled to be completed in July 2017 in a series of interchanges around the airport.
The project will replace the E10 highway with a tunnel as part of the expansion plans around the airport.
The new airport road projects aim to cut down journey time for commuters, said Khalid Deemas Al Suwaidi, Surface Transport Advisor and Acting General Director of Main Roads at the Department of Transport.
