(MENAFN) Average rental rates in Abu Dhabi for apartments and villas dropped by 7 percent and 5 percent, respectively, amid 2016 and will soften more this year.
Furthermore, almost 1.400 residential units were handed amid 2016 and almost 4.000 units, involving 2.700 apartments and 1.360 villas will be handed this year.
Additionally, high profile corporate mergers in the pipeline are projected to lead to increased job uncertainty and could affect employee benefit packages.
Meanwhile, villas rents fell by 5 percent on an average in 21016, with the greatest fall in the Al Raha Beach area.
