Abu Dhabi to build USD 119.7mn aluminum plant
22 Mar 2016
(MENAFN) A new aluminum plant with whole investment of USD 119.7mn will be built in the Khalifa Industrial Zone Abu Dhabi, among need for flat-rolled aluminum products.
Furthermore, the new plant for Emirates Aluminum Rolling LLC (Emiroll) is predicted to be finished by the third quarter of 2017.
Additionally, Dubai Holding will hold 35 percent share in Emiroll, while Dubai Investments 3 percent share and MARS Holding will hold 35 percent.
Emiroll will produce 65,000 tons of aluminum coils per annum, involving 45,000 tons of cold-rolled and 20,000 tons of hot-rolled aluminum for apps.
