Abu Dhabi’s Aldar sells USD163.32m villa plots in Khalifa City

(MENAFN) Abu Dhabi-based Aldar, one of the UAE’s biggest property developers, reported the selling of more than USD163.32 million worth of villa plots in Khalifa City, The National reported.

Aldar reported selling 281 villa plots within its 690,000 square meter Al Merief master-planned community set to be built in Khalifa City near Masdar City and Al Raha Beach.

According to the developer, it has sold 281 of the plots that are only entitled for Emiratis nationals. The payments for the plots amounted for in between 50 and 100 percent of the disclosed purchase price.

“We are seeing unprecedented demand for infrastructure-enabled land in Abu Dhabi as the emirate continues to develop and the economy grows,” Aldar chief executive said in a statement.
