(MENAFN) Abu Dhabi Airports Company (ADAC), the company that manages Abu Dhabi International Airport, said that in the first quarter of the current year, over 2.8 million passengers passed through the airport, reported Arabian Business.
ADAC said that the number represents a 9.4 percent year on year increase in passengers traveling through the airport.
In addition, ADAC stated that 28,724 flights landed in the airport with a total of 2,820,045 travelers on board.
As for cargo traffic, the company stated that it witnessed a nine percent year on year increase.
