Al Hayrat is BBK’s unique savings account that presents exciting opportunities for customers to win prizes while they save. Today, BBK made the announcement that everyone has been waiting for – The winner of the Al Hayrat’s Mid year cash prize of $500,000. The raffle draw took place on May 28th 2014 under the supervision of Mr. Yasser Buallay of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, and members of the top management of the bank.

Mr. Ahmed Mohammed Al Harmi, a renowned Bahraini musician and father of two was announced as the lucky winner of the Midyear draw. Mr. Yousif Abdulla, the winner’s brother and agent received the cheque on the winner’s behalf in a ceremony that took place at the Muharraq Financial Mall on Monday the 15th of June, where Mr. A. Karim Bucheery, the Chief Executive of BBK handed over the cheque at the reception attended by BBK management and the Muharraq financial mall staff.

Mr. Al Harmi thanked the Bank and its officials for this amazing prize and expressed his appreciation to all the Bank employees who do their best to ensure a remarkable customer experience at every opportunity.

Mr. Yousif, the winner’s brother, expressed Mr. Ahmed’s love for philanthropy and mentioned that a part of the prize will surely go towards the needy, especially as the holy month of Ramadan is approaching.
