(MENAFN) Air Arabia has posted a net profit of USD138.5mn last year, a 4 percent lower than the number in 2015 of USD144.5mn.
Moreover, turnover of the whole 2016 years was in line with the preceding 12 months reaching USD1.03bn, more than 8.4mn passengers flew with Air Arabia in 2016.
Meanwhile, Air Arabia’s Board of Directors offered a dividend distribution of 7 percent of share capital, which is equivalent to 7 fils per share.
In addition, the carrier added 9 new routes to its global network in 2016 from its 5 operating hubs in the UAE, Morocco, Egypt and Jordan.
