(MENAFN) Sharjah-based Air Arabia expanded its weekly flights to Moscow by two flights that will start in October.
This takes Air Arabia’s total weekly flights to the Russian capital to five, operated Tuesdays, Wednesday, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
AK Nizar, head of commercial department of Air Arabia, said that since the launch of services to Moscow in October 2011, Air Arabia saw noticeable demand on the route.
He added that adding the expanding services will further enhance travel and tourism ties between the two nations.
It is worth mentioning that Moscow is Russia’s economic and political center. With over 10.5 million inhabitants, Moscow is the most populous city in Russia.
