Al Hayrat, BBK’s unique savings account continues to present its customers with exceptional opportunities to win prizes while they save for the future. Following the handover of the two winners of BD 250,000 each in May, Al Hayrat kicks off the summer with 11 prizes by awarding 1 lucky winner with the Grand Prize of BD 100,000 and 10 winners with BD 10,000 each for the month of June.

The raffle draw took place on July 6^th, 2021, and was attended by BBK Group Chief Executive, Dr. AbdulRahman Saif, the General Manager of the Retail Banking Divison, Dr. Adel Salem and the Head of Product and Digital Marketing, Nada Bubshait.  The draw was held virtually under the supervision of Ms. Rawan Janahi of the Consumer Protection Unit at the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism, in addition to BBK’s Internal Audit, Internal Control, Marketing and Retail Banking representatives.

The winner of the Grand Prize of BD 100,000 is Mr. Ghaleb al Shehabi and the 10 winners of BD 10,000 each are Enas AlShawai, Sayed Mujtaba Shubber, Ameera Ismail, Farzana Bader, Mohamed Buwah, Mohammed Juma Abdulla, Shaima Radhi, Hasan Aqeel, Jalal Qambar and Khadija AlSarsawi. They were all contacted directly after the draw by Dr. AbdulRahman Saif, who delivered the good news.

Dr. Adel Salem commented: “I’d like to extend my heartfelt congratulations to the winners of the month of June and to the Grand Prize winner Mr. Ghaleb Al Shehabi.

Our aim was to provide our customers with more chances of winning with Al Hayrat and in the recent years, we’ve successfully transformed the lives of many of our esteemed customers. This summer, we are thrilled to share the excitement by awarding 41 winners with the Grand Prize of BD 100,000 in June and monthly cash prizes worth BD 10,000 each in June, July, August and September.”

Mr. Ghaleb, a Bahraini entrepreneur who was personally contacted and congratulated after the draw by the Group Chief Executive, commented after receiving the life changing news: “I have recently opened my Al Hayrat account with the belief that I will win and AlHamdulillah, I thank Allah for this blessing. This win will help me and my family put many plans in motion. “

Amongst the 10 winners of BD 10,000 each, the youngest was 7 year old Sayed Mujtaba. In an emotional phone call with the Chief Executive, his mother, Mrs. Amal commented: “I’ve opened an Al Hayrat account for my son with hopes that he will be blessed with a win one day and Al Hamdulilah, it came at the right time. This win will help relieve many financial obligations and we are thankful for this blessing.”

Mrs. Shaima commented: I have always dreamt of winning and I always had faith that I will be one of the lucky winners one day and by the grace and blessings of Allah, I did. I’d like to thank BBK for turning this dream a reality.”

Customers still have a chance to win this summer as BBK is offering 30 more winners with monthly cash prizes worth BD 10,000 each in July, August and September leading up to the Grand Prize of BD 500,000 at the end of the year.
