Your eligibility for an Al Hayrat Account
All Bahraini Citizens and Non-Bahrainis as well, who are 21 years and above are eligible. An Al Hayrat account can be opened for minors by their legal guardians. Non-BBK customers can also open an Al Hayrat account.
To open an account
- Present an original and valid Smart Card plus a second form of identification.
- Passport is required for non-Bahrainis.
Deposits held with BBK in the Kingdom of Bahrain are covered by the Regulation Protecting Deposits and Unrestricted Investment Accounts issued by the Central Bank of Bahrain in accordance with Resolution No (34) of 2010.
All draws are held under the supervision of the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism.
