​BBK, Bahrain’s pioneer in retail and commercial banking, has recently announced the name of the winner of the first Quarter Million Dollars prize from Al Hayrat in 2015.

The winner of the $250,000 cash prize was Mr. Emad Isa Al Qadhi, a Bahraini pilot in Emirates Airlines.

The cheque was handed over to the winner by Nada Bubshait , the Head of Retail Marketing and Mr. Ahmed Salah, Acting head of liabilities. Also present at the handover was Fatima Al Aamer, Head of the Muharraq Financial Mall, Fatima Abu- AlFateh, Region head and Mohammed Zainalabedin, Region head.

The Al Hayrat draw took place on April 29th at the Budaiya Financial Mall, under the supervision of Mr. Shafi Al Balushi the Ministry of Industry and Commerce representative, in addition to BBK’s Internal Audit, Internal control and Retail Marketing and Retail Banking representatives.
Mr. Emad shared the incredible story of winning the Quarter Million dollars by saying:

“My friend has left a cash amount with me for safe keeping, and I have decided to deposit the amount into Al Hayrat with high hopes of winning, I actually told my friend: I have a strong feeling that I will win and we shall share the prize amount 50/50.

When I called him to inform him that I had won and that I am ready to share the prize as promised, he said “how much is it? $1000?” to which I replied “No, its $250,000!” needless to say, he was lost for words!

We are both extremely ecstatic and look forward to increasing our deposits with Al Hayrat”

It’s worth mentioning that this represents the first of two Quarter Million dollar prizes in 2015. The second one scheduled for r October  Other big prizes for this year will include the Half Million Dollars prize in July and the One million dollar prize at the end of the year to end the 2015 campagin. Bringing up the yearlong prizes total to $2,500,000! Customers who deposit at least one month prior to each draw will be eligible, each BD 50 equals a chance to win. The more the amount deposited, the more chances of winning.
