(MENAFN) Al Maabar manager director Yousef al Nowais said that the company would invest three hundred million dollars for the construction of a luxurious hotel in Jordan and that the company would continue its projects in the Middle East and North Africa as planned previously, reported Arabian Business.
Al Nowais announced that the hotel in Jordan would accommodate 270 rooms and would hold the brand of St Regis from the Starwood. The construction of the hotel would be done by March 2014.
The director also said that Al Maabar along with Mubadala and Aldar Properties, planned to work on the construction of over 350 townhouses and related facilities costing Aqaba amounting to $250 million as a part of a bigger project called Marsa Zayed.
It is worth noting that Maaber currently owns and runs a billion dollars worth of projects.
