(MENAFN) Alsalam Aircraft Company’s President & CEO, Mohammad Noor Fallatah, said that the company signed two agreements, the first with King Saud University (KSU) and the other with Montreal Aveos Fleet Inc., reported Arab News.
Fallatah added that the agreement with KSU aims at hiring Saudi nationals, providing them with the needed training in aviation and the best development programs that enable them to get the job they desire.
He said that this MoU with KSU would last for five years, in which the College of Business Administration (CBA) would be in charge of the training and hiring process.
He said that the second agreement with Aveos concentrated on repair, maintenance, and overhaul for jet engines, the work would take place in Dorval, Canada.
It is worth noting that Alsalam plays a great role in the kingdom’s self sufficiency strategy for civil and military aircraft maintenance.
